In addition, these are according to Dave Gardner. Although desktop computing trend came far before cloud computing but it has expected to be greatly disrupt by it. In addition, this shift will specially be beneficial for these cloud-computing leaders. There is a huge list of cloud computing companies, which includes Amazon founded in 1994. Jefferey Bezos who was initially a financial analyst is now the CEO of this big and renowned company.

Another company is AT & T, found in 1983 and is located in Dallas. Randall Stephenson has been the CEO since 2007. Following it is Enomally, which is located in Toronto. Google is another brand name worth mentioning. It is located in The Mountain View and came into existence in 1998. Another companies providing cloud computing services are GoGrid in San Francisco whose development work started in 2006, Microsoft in Redmond which was founded back in the year 1975, NetSuite in San Mateo, Rackspace in San Antonio, RightScale in Santa Barbara and Salesforce.com in San Francisco whose CEO Marc Benioff is also the chairman and founder of this company. He has given 13 years of his life to Oracle where he played different roles in product development, execution and in the sales department. However apart from these there are many more companies, which are providing the cloud computing services.

Rich miller who is working with The Data Center Knowledge as an editor told the media that this center is exclusively to provide the cloud computing services that are a method in which services or information regarding any type can be access by people across the world. Some popular examples of cloud based services include Google Docs, Apple’s MobileMe, Evernote any many more.

All of these applications provide services to the users via internet. Miller says that having such a big data center will help a lot to cloud computing. He further adds that it will be one of the largest data centers worldwide. It is been found from several sources that Apple has confirmed that its next version soon to be launched will be iPhone cloud storage. This will be available to us at a price of$99 and will be develop with the help of iPhone OS interface. The device soon expecting its launch is base on the fourth generation of iPhone. In addition, it will have an output of 1080p HD and storage of about 16GB.

In addition to that, Apple is also working on Apple TVs successive version. It will also support various external devices for storage. The device will be available in market at a price of$99 US and will focus mainly on the streaming content.

This window lives up exclusively in Microsoft Cloud. This platform is been given to the people to the developers to host as well as to distribute the software which is running on the internet. Therefore, it is very clear that it is not a service that is for the end user. Nevertheless, it will be of use to you only if your areas of interest include Web services, SOAP and WSDL. For the end users it is helpful but only to welcome them to an environment of web application.

Open source cloud computing has given us the foundation for a large no. of cloud computing implementations. A foundation named Free Software released GPLv3 whose main purpose was to fill up a legal loophole that was about the software that could run free of cost over the entire network. It released in November ’07 and named Affero General. The growth of cloud computing depends largely on the open standards. Numerous open standards are currently under development while some of the vendors have switched to other APIs.

However, it is been seen that a majority of cloud providers expose to those APIs, which are unique in their application, are documented properly and hence are not at all interoperable. The OCC that is Open Cloud Consortium has been working hard to develop all standards and policies related to cloud computing.

We can broadly classify their services into three wide categories. The first one is the IaaS which is a short for Infrastructure as a Service , the second one being PaaS an acronym for Platform as a Service and the last one being SaaS abbreviated for Software as a Service. The term cloud computing was greatly inspired by the symbol of cloud which is often being used to represent Internet in various flowcharts as well as in diagrams also. A cloud can however be public or private.

The difference between the two is that a public cloud offers all of its services to every one on the net whereas this is not the case with the private cloud, which is a private network, or we can say a data center and hence provides its hosted services to only a limited group of people. Now days Amazon Web Services is one of the top most public cloud provider. Cloud computing however have three different characteristics, which help it to be clearly distinguished from the traditional hosting. This service is been sold only on demand, which is generally on a minute or an hour basis.

It is entirely up to the user as to how much service he or she wishes to receive. Another point worth mentioning is that only the providers solely manage the service. Several factors have accelerated the growth of users in cloud computing.

.

Nevertheless, to reach at that place he said that the world requires three things. Initially a personal computer, an easy way to access huge information and the last requirement is a very powerful and broad communication network. The thoughts he had at that time are finally taking shape of reality in the businesses environment. Now with more and more personal computers available in form of various smartphones, wireless networks and mini-laptops, it is very much possible for people to remain connected always. Parallel, we can also see Bill Gates cloud computing rising high. The concept was to connect a large no. of machines with an aim to manage data and software. Both mobile and cloud technologies together form up a great combination. They are successfully shaping some of the most significant advances that could happen in the computing universe. Now days it does not matter as to what is your current position, you can very easily connect yourself with the required information. Warren Buffet Cloud Computing gives us a list of five simple pillars of achieving business success. In addition, these pillars are simplicity, a favorable and healthy long-term growth, a trustworthy and able management and focus on an appropriate price keeping in mind the prevailing competition.
